Your child is learning about perspective and watercolor... Pics will be arriving soon as they work, literally, out the details...
Project ONE
Perspective and watercolor - FINAL
Project Two and Three
Project two was a collaborative effort with the goal of creating a continuous landscape, however the assignment morphed into a group landscape - I am flexible because I wanted your children to translate prior learning, (indoor perspective), into a new area, (landscapes) - all the while using a new medium - oil pastels. They were successful. However, as with many of my lessons, this was only part of the tasks, because these landscapes will be part of the final project - portraits. It is my intent to share the two projects when it is complete, however, because the practice and subsequent for practice for the portrait was so phenomenal - I had to share their interpretations of Mr. Teichert - one of our practice subjects.
Your children listened to my instructions and aptly applied what they understood. I am so proud of efforts... Hopefully, this will whet your appetite for their final work.

PROJECT 3 - Emotional Self-Portraits
Look closely and you will see the essence of what your children see in themselves. They are truly delightful.
