Perspective and Watercolor
Students have been taught to consider how they view the world around them. They learned about foreground, middle ground and background- large, medium and small. Additionally, students are learning about using water as a tool and working slowly being mindful of every stroke - creating hues/colors and various tones/variations of the hues to convey a composition/message. Below are merely samples - Students will complete this soon and will be onto the next project - connected landscapes and/or designs, then portraits.
...and now the finished product!
The beginnings of PROJECT TWO...
Project two challenged the students to LISTEN WELL, but allowed them to exercise their freedom to design whatever their hearts desired. The students had to agree on two colors to use and had to maintain the edges of their work with the specified colors, but otherwise the sky was the limit. This was also a lesson in collaboration. What you see here is ONLY A SAMPLING. The final project will be shown with PROJECT THREE - Portraitures.
Project Three
Self Portraits
